During the Fall season, AVHG volunteers drive out to fields in Lancaster and seek out homeless folks. Items such as cup of noodles, socks, sleeping bags, blankets and toiletries will be offered, in Jesus’ name. Prayer is also offered, never imposed. Volunteers may drive in the RV (10 volunteers per week in the RV permitted) or they may follow in their own vehicle. Volunteers stay together as a group for safety purposes.

If you would like to make a donation to the Night Shift Homeless Ministry, please consider the following items which would go directly to people in need:

Sleeping bags (used or new)

Tents (used or new)

Pillows (used or new)

Blankets (used or new)

Socks for men/women (preferably new, used is ok)

Beanies/gloves/scarves (used or new)

Jackets/sweaters/thermols (used or new)

Cup of Noodles

Granola Bars

Hot Cocoa Packets

Macaroni & Cheese (individual sized bowls)

Toiletry Items - Toothpaste/brush, deodorant, baby wipes, toilet paper, razors
